iPhone 16’s A18 processor 30% faster in single core

The iPhone 16 made a splash with its high scores in performance tests right after its introduction. According to Geekbench 6 test results, the iPhone 16 model, powered by Apple’s new A18 processor , made its claim by scoring 3114 points in single-core performance. However, its multi-core performance fell short of the iPhone 15 Pro Max’s A17 Pro processor.

It was a bit surprising that the multi-core performance of the iPhone 16 was below that of the 15 Pro Max’s processor. However, this difference is thought to be due to the fact that the Geekbench 6 software has not yet been able to accurately reflect the full potential of the iPhone 16.

The A18 processor used in the iPhone 16 model is 30% faster than the previously introduced A16 Bionic processor, as Apple mentioned . This is an improvement that does not only remain on paper. In daily use, it will offer faster opening applications, a smoother experience in multitasking, and high performance in graphics-intensive applications. You will clearly feel this speed difference when playing games or editing videos.

The iPhone 16, codenamed iPhone 17.3 in the tests , received applause for its 3114 points in single-core performance. The A18 processor has an efficiency-oriented design, as in Apple’s previous models. In this way, the device will satisfy its users with its powerful performance while providing longer battery life by reducing energy consumption.

In summary, the Geekbench 6 test results of the iPhone 16 revealed that Apple’s new flagship is quite ambitious in terms of performance. What do you think about the new A18 processor of the iPhone 16? Which model of the iPhone 16 series would you buy? You can write your opinions in the comments section below.
